This blog focuses on the big picture of the Chicago Bulls organization as well as the NBA at large. With a new look, "Roses & Booze" will feature multiple posts a week from both me as well as guest writers. Please welcome newly appointed co-writer Aon Hussain.

Thomas Sent Packing
You heard it here first. Tyrus to the Bobcats for Flip Murray, Acie Law, and a first round pick. Flip Murray is another expiring contract and Acie Law has a player option. Essentially, the Bulls fall further under the cap limit by moving Thomas, a fourth-year athletic player who has under-performed and caused locker room issues. He was probably the players Bulls fans most wanted to see go, and Murray provides some valuable scoring for this season as well as a potential mid-level 2 guard to re-sign if the Bulls land a big man instead of a guard this summer. Also, the first round picks relieves some of the damage of the picks sent to the Bucks.
